Packers 2013 Season: Nominate Your Top Plays of the Year

We ask you, the readers, to give us examples of the Packers' best plays from the 2013 season.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

The 2013 season for the Green Bay Packers was one of the more challenging seasons in recent years for the team and its fans. For the first time since 1992, the quarterback who entered the season as the starter was knocked out for an extended period of time, and this year there was no superstar waiting in the wings to take over. Aaron Rodgers' absence due to a collarbone fracture was the team's top storyline of the second half of the season, as the team tried to stay afloat in the hunt for an NFC North title and a playoff berth.

Of course, Rodgers returned just in time for the Week 17 matchup against the Bears and delivered in crunch-time with a play that will be remembered by Packers fans forever.

That play is among those that we have identified as being one of the team's best plays of 2013, but we need help from you, the readers of Acme Packing Company. We are putting together a list of the ten best plays of the season, and while we have a few no-brainer choices to add to our list, we want to hear your opinions on some of the other plays which deserve to be under consideration.

Remember, these are the best plays of the season overall, not just the most spectacular or most impactful. The APC staff will be judging these plays based on a few criteria: (1) the situation in which the play took place (including a play's impact on that game or the season), (2) impressive effort/athleticism on the part of one or more Packers, (3) shock value, and/or (4) silliness/amusement factor.

A few of the plays which we have already identified to be in the running include the following:

Rodgers' division-clinching touchdown to Randall Cobb (obviously)
Jarrett Boykin's fumble recovery touchdown
Sam Shields' remarkable interception in Dallas
Scott Tolzien's spinning rushing score
Rodgers-to-Nelson over Chad Greenway at the Metrodome

However, we need examples of other plays which you feel deserve to be in consideration for the top 10. We expect that there will be more than 10 candidates, so through our voting we'll narrow them down to the 10 best.

Tell us which other plays you think are most memorable from 2013 in the comments, and keep an eye out soon when we begin to go through our list of the top 10 plays.
