Wherein we lament Lynn Dickey's omission by 80's rappers. Seriously.

We've finally made it to the week that marks the start of the Green Bay Packers' training camp, folks. Players report on Friday and practice begins on Saturday, so get those bikes ready for an early morning practice this weekend to kick off camp.

Until we get to that point, we'll break down the final positions on our roster (finishing off the defense with the safeties today). We'll also start a look at how Packers fans from around the world follow the team.

But first, let's get to today's curds.

Packers need to get most out of aging Peppers |
Don't expect Peppers to play 80% of the defensive snaps in 2014. He played that much a year ago for the Bears, but if the Packers can maintain some semblance of good health at linebacker, he won't need to be on the field that much this year.

Ruettgers, Green arrive at their destination |
Here are some great quotes from the two newest Packers Hall of Fame inductees.

Position-by-position: Offensive line - Packers confident offensive line ready to fulfill its promise

Green Bay Packers mailbag: High draft picks on hot seat - ESPN
Rob Demovsky thinks Nick Perry is a lock and that Derek Sherrod and Jerel Worthy are on the bubble. I can't say I disagree.

Rodgers comments on Finley Injury | Cheesehead TV
Aaron Rodgers discusses his buddy: "The NFL is better with Jermichael in it, and the Packers are better with Jermichael on it."

The best quarterbacks of the 1980s, according to rap lyrics -
Sad. There are no mentions of Lynn Dickey in 80s rap songs, apparently. Was his 1983 season (led league in passing yards and TDs) not good enough? Or maybe the team's 8-8 record was a problem. Yeah, it's probably the latter.
