Since the Green Bay Packers have two practices under their belt, it seems only fitting that we take a look back at the first two days of training camp. While we have a good idea about a number of players, the pads will go on for the first time today and that will give us an even better idea of what to expect from several of the guys moving forward.

Still, we have found a few rookies on offense who have made splash plays early, while the Packers' top rookie on defense is still waiting to really make his mark.

Hop over into the practice thread for a few hours as well, as practice starts at 8:20 AM today.

Micah Hyde seems to have edge on Clinton-Dix at safety | JSOnline
Hyde is continuing to get the first-team reps at safety and had a great practice on Sunday, with multiple pass breakups.

Packers Insider: 5th-round pick Abbrederis goes deep | Packersnews
Rookies Jared Abbrederis and Richard Rodgers both made big plays on Sunday, with Abbrederis burning Tramon Willams and Rodgers making a great catch from Aaron Rodgers over Clay Matthews' coverage.

Mike Daniels sets the tone for first day in pads |
Don't you dare insinuate that Mike Daniels is only a situational pass-rusher: "Me and Datone (Jones)are football players. We’re not nickel rushers. I have full faith we can do everything."

And why shouldn't he be? The two have a connection like few others in today's NFL.

Green Bay Packers' Randall Cobb hasn't 'done enough' to earn contract extension | FOX Sports on MSN
Cobb has a great attitude about his contract situation: "I think my job is just to come out here every day, do what I'm supposed to, continue to work hard and hopefully my time will come."

Vikings, Kyle Rudolph agree to 5-year, $36.5 million extension -
Well, that's interesting. Rudolph is an ascending young tight end, but he's never recorded over 500 yards receiving and missed half of last year with injuries. Give me Jordy at 4 years, $39 million any day.

Packers' practice includes snack time - Green Bay Packers Blog - ESPN
I wish I got one of the "red things" that Brandon Bostick has been eating. Hopefully this - and the hiring of a nutritionist - will help the players avoid further injury or cramping.
