It's finally here.
After two weeks of waiting and six other playoff games in the books, the Green Bay Packers finally take the field in the NFL Playoffs today. The Dallas Cowboys are in town to try to avenge their last playoff loss in Green Bay, as well as a thrilling comeback victory by the Packers a year ago.
Here's your primer for Sunday in the Divisional Round.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers
12:05 PM Central Time
Lambeau Field
Green Bay, Wisconsin
TV: FOX
Online Streaming: FOX Sports GO (video), Packers.com (audio)
Radio: Packers Radio Network, Westwood One Sports
Recent history: By now, you know that the last time these two teams played in the playoffs at Lambeau was in the 1967 NFL Championship Game, better known as the Ice Bowl. In recent years, though, the teams have not met often; they have played just once in the past four years, the thrilling 37-36 comeback victory in Dallas in week 15 of the 2013 season. Prior to that, the teams played each year from 2007-2010, with Dallas winning the first two games and Green Bay winning in '09 and '10.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos
2:40 PM Mountain Time (3:40 PM Central)
Sports Authority Field at Mile High
Denver, Colorado
TV: CBS
Online Streaming: CBSsports.com
Radio: Westwood One Sports
Recent History: The only two times these teams have met in the playoffs, Peyton Manning's team won. Unfortunately for Denver, those games were in 2003 and 2004, when Manning was a Colt, and both times Indy won by 25 or more. In the Manning/Luck era, however, there have been two meetings and both were won by one score - Luck and the Colts upset Denver 39-33 in Indy last season, while Denver won 31-24 in week one this year.
