The regular season is finally over, and with it ends traditional fantasy leagues. But here at APC and SB Nation as a whole, we're trying to keep your fantasy dreams alive, and SB Nation has partnered with FanDuel for another NFL fantasy league fro Wild Card Weekend.
While the Packers are not involved, it's still a nice little change from your standard leagues. By now, you're probably familiar with the salary cap-style game, but here are a few value plays who might be worth a look this week.
Quarterback: well, good luck finding value here. With eight teams playing, you'll be paying $8,000 or more for a QB. Is Andrew Luck really worth a grand more than the other signal-callers out there? I don't know, but I'm not splurging here.
Running back: Colts running backs have been tough to predict this season, but both Dan Herron will start and is a great value. You could also take a flier on the Cardinals' Kerwynn Williams this week at a bargain price.
Wideout: Martavis Bryant for the Steelers could be a big boom/bust candidate, but Golden Tate might be the best value here at under $7,000. If you're going to splurge on a premier player, though, Antonio Brown is likely to be the surest bet for big points.
Good luck, and enjoy the games!
Editor's Note: FanDuel is hosting a $1,000 fantasy football league for SBNation for the Wildcard round. It's $5 to join and first place wins $100. League starts Saturday 4:30 PM ET. Here's the link.
