College Football Schedule, Week 7: Tune in for the Battle of Michigan

Michigan and Florida are two historic college football programs that have been in shambles over the past few years. Odds are that if you had looked at week seven's schedule back in August, you wouldn't be particularly excited for a week that features Michigan State-Michigan and Florida-LSU.

Now? Those two are arguably the best games of the weekend on paper.

Jim Harbaugh has pulled the Wolverines out of the doldrums quicker than anyone expected, and he leads his one-loss team against its in-state rival this week in an attempt to solidify Michigan as a legitimate contender for not only the Big Ten title but the College Football Playoff. Likewise, new coach Jim McElwain has helped spark a turnaround in Gainesville, and the undefeated Gators will try to win a night game in Death Valley today to maintain their top-ten ranking.

Add in a sprinkling of Iowa-Northwestern and Alabama-Texas A&M, and you've got quite the week seven Saturday to look forward to. Enjoy!
