The Green Bay Packers own a 6-0 record and enter their bye week. However, the same holds true for the Cincinnati Bengals, who jumped Green Bay in SB Nation's official power rankings this week.
Three weeks have passed since the last time the Packers really looked like the dominant team most believe them to be. All of the injuries, especially at the skill positions, have slowed the team's powerhouse offense to a more average unit. Still, Aaron Rodgers keeps Green Bay in the hunt for a top spot, as does the team's improved defense.
As for the rest of the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings have crept into the top 10 after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 16-10 over the weekend. The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions bring up the rear, coming in at No. 25 and No. 30 respectively. That shouldn't surprise many people, given their atrocious play during Sunday's 37-34 overtime affair.
The Packers faired similarly around the web. Yahoo! Sports ranked them No. 2 overall, behind just the New England Patriots. The same held true for NFL.com's Elliot Harrison.
