The Green Bay Packers get to enjoy week seven as spectators on their bye week as they get healthy (or at least healthier) and resume their season in Denver a week from Sunday. In the meantime, we're left with looking back at the first six games of the season and looking ahead to the team's long-term needs instead of having any real football news to discuss.

You'll get no argument from me here. With Matthews manning the middle, Peppers going into the last year of his deal, and both Nick Perry and Mike Neal potentially hitting free agency, the Packers will need a young playmaker or two on the edge. Michigan State's Shilique Calhoun and Auburn's Carl Lawson could be intriguing possibilities near the end of the first round.
