The Green Bay Packers got some good news and some bad news at practice on Thursday.
Running back James Starks, who had been sidelined during both Monday's and Wednesday's practice, returned to the field today to start preparing for Sunday's game against Denver. With Eddie Lacy no longer listed on injury reports this week, it's a good sign for the Packers' running game.
The bad news is that rookie cornerback Damarious Randall did not practice on Thursday. Randall has been very impressive over his first six games, showing the instincts and cover ability that made him a first-round pick despite playing free safety in college. His injury was reported as to his ankle. It is possible that Randall tweaked something on Wednesday but finished that practice and was held out today as a precaution, but we likely will not find out more about his injury until Mike McCarthy speaks on Friday or the final injury report is released.
Stay tuned for more injury updates tomorrow.
