Packers upgrade B.J. Raji and Damarious Randall to Probable for Broncos game

The Packers should have the anchor back on their defensive line, but one impactful rookie is likely to miss the game in Denver.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

By virtue of the adjusted game statuses for a few Green Bay Packers players, we can infer how much a few of them were able to practice on Saturday before the team departed for Denver. Three players who were listed as questionable saw their statuses change this afternoon.

Two of them, nose tackle B.J. Raji and cornerback Damarious Randall, were upgraded to Probable. This likely means that both were able to practice fully on Saturday, and they should be in the lineup on Sunday night.

The third player, however, is Ty Montgomery, and he was downgraded to Doubtful. That likely is an indication that he was unable to practice for the fourth time this week, and he will almost certainly find himself on the inactive list come Sunday afternoon.

Two other Packers were listed as Questionable on Friday and remained at that status on Saturday: linebacker Nick Perry and running back James Starks. Since the two had no change, the likely scenario is that both were limited in practice and their availability probably remains uncertain in either direction.

Here's the updated report for this week:

Probable

WR Davante Adams (ankle)
S Morgan Burnett (calf)
ILB Nate Palmer (chest)
NT B.J. Raji (groin)
CB Damarious Randall (ankle)

Questionable

OLB Nick Perry (shoulder/hand)
RB James Starks (hip)

Doubtful

WR Ty Montgomery (ankle)
