Packers vs. Vikings Halftime Update: Green Bay leads 16-6 at the half

Here's what has happened after 30 minutes between Green Bay and Minnesota.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

After 30 minutes in Minneapolis, the Green Bay Packers lead the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 16-6.

The Packers' offense struggled to move the ball once they got over the 50 yard line, scoring three early field goals. However, they broke through late in the second quarter with a big pass interference penalty drawn by Jeff Janis and a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Randall Cobb.

Rodgers has completed 11 of 20 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown, while Eddie Lacy has five carries for 33 yards. James Jones leads the way in the receiving department with 3 catches for 41 yards.

Corey Linsley, T.J. Lang, and Morgan Burnett all left the game with injuries at various points. However, all but Linsley returned to the game before the conclusion of the second quarter.

The Packers will receive the opening kickoff of the second half and will look to extend their lead.
