We're finally ready for dessert. Now that the first two NFL games on Thanksgiving Day are wrapped up, the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears are getting set to kick off the final game of the evening.
We're ready here at Acme Packing Company, having spent the day with our families while stuffing ourselves silly with all the usual Thanksgiving fare. We hope you have been doing the same, and we hope to enjoy a Packers win with all of you this evening.
The Packers enter today at 7-3 and in first place in the NFC North. The 4-6 Bears still have a ways to go before they get back in the playoff picture, but they have been improving in recent weeks, going 4-3 over the past eight weeks.
Both teams will be missing key players on offense as well. For the Packers, receivers Ty Montgomery and Jared Abbrederis are out, and center Corey Linsley has not practiced all week. The Bears, on the other hand, will be without starting tight end Martellus Bennett and third-string running back Ka'Deem Carey.
Join us for the game in the comment section below, and Happy Thanksgiving!
