Bears vs. Packers inactives: Corey Linsley and Micah Hyde sit Thanksgiving showdown

will play without their starting center.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

When the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears Thanksgiving evening, starting center Corey Linsley will remain on the sidelines. He headlines Green Bay's inactive list, which also includes versatile defensive back Micah Hyde.

Originally listed as questionable, Linsley injured his ankle last week against the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, third-year center JC Tretter expects to start in his place. However, the rest of the offensive line is ready to go despite each member dealing with some kind of injury.

Once again, wide receiver Ty Montgomery takes a seat while dealing with an ankle injury of his own. Montgomery, who nearly played a week ago before re-aggravating the injury during practice, would have served as the No. 4 receiver behind Randall Cobb, James Jones and Davante Adams.

As for the Bears, both running back Matt Forte and wideout Alshon Jeffery are active for the game. Neither played last week during Chicago's loss to the Denver Broncos.

Here are the complete inactives for both teams:
