Packers Fantasy Football Predictions: Eddie Lacy will be a major contributor down the stretch

If you're in a fantasy playoff hunt, get on board the Lacy train while you can.

While the Green Bay Packers' offense as a whole continues to struggle as the 2015 season rolls along, one major factor has returned to form: Eddie Lacy. The Packers' running back has put up two consecutive 100-yard games, and added a receiving touchdown against the Bears as well.

As far as fantasy football goes, Lacy looks like he's back to being a top-flight running back once again.

Many of Lacy's owners likely have been disappointed with his production in the fantasy regular season. However, with the playoffs just a week or two away in most season-long leagues, count yourself lucky if you held on to Lacy and are going to make the postseason anyway. That's because the big back is poised to be the focus of the Packers' offense the rest of this season, as ESPN's Rob Demovsky writes.

Lacy's career backs up this assumption as well. In 2014 from week 12 on, Lacy averaged 20 carries and 99 rushing yards per game, and also put up and average of one touchdown in each contest. Similarly, over the last six games of his rookie year in 2013 he had over 100 total yards per contest and six total scores.

Based on the offense's struggles and Lacy's history, Packers fans and Lacy's fantasy owners should expect some big numbers from the Hulk as his team looks to get back on track in the race for the NFC North title and the NFC Playoffs.
