The Green Bay Packers were served their first loss of the season last Sunday when the Denver Broncos took them to the woodshed at Mile High. Naturally, this has a negative affect on Green Bay's standing in the power rankings. According to SB Nation's weekly NFL power index, they have fallen to No. 6, their first appearance outside the top 5.
If the power rankings mean something to you, there's good news. The Packers are set to take on the No. 4 team, the Carolina Panthers, this Sunday in Charlotte. A win over Carolina would not only push Green Bay back into the top 5, but also likely give the team the billing within the NFC.
As for the rest of the division, the Minnesota Vikings have crept up to No. 7, making their Week 11 showdown with the Packers that much more enticing. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions reside in the very back of the league, holding spots 29 and 32 respectively.
