Here we go.

In a matchup that viewers would normally assume would be an offensive explosion, this week's game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys appears to be poised to be anything but. Both defenses are coming in hot, while each team's offense has sputtered while dealing with key injuries all season long.

On the visitors' sideline, the Cowboys are dealing with the loss of Tony Romo for the regular season and trying to scratch and claw their way into striking position of an NFC East title. Matt Cassel now mans the quarterback position while awaiting Romo's return. Meanwhile, Dallas' defense ranks 15th in the league in points allowed but 5th in yards, and will hope to stifle the Packers and Aaron Rodgers.

Green Bay has been dealing with injuries and ineffectiveness themselves this season, with Jordy Nelson out for the season, Ty Montgomery missing nearly two months, and offensive linemen seemingly dropping like flies. Today will be a big test, but the edge that Green Bay has at quarterback is more than enough for most pundits to pick Green Bay as the favorite.
