As the Green Bay Packers prepare to suit up against the Dallas Cowboys today, Green Bay will not have the services of several key players for today's game. It was unlikely that center Corey Linsley would play today, but today's inactive list confirms that he will be unavailable and will not put on the pads.
Joining Linsley on the inactive list are two players who were listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. However, the other four starters on the offensive line are active and expected to play, leaving Aaron Rodgers in a better position than he was a week and a half ago.
CB LaDarius Gunter
QB Brett Hundley
C Corey Linsley
WR Ty Montgomery
OLB Andy Mulumba
OLB Nick Perry
Montgomery will sit out his seventh straight game this week after being injured in week six. Crockett's deactivation means that the Packers will roll with exclusively Eddie Lacy and James Starks this week, and is a sign that Mike McCarthy has indeed regained some trust in Lacy after the curfew issue in Detroit.
Finally, Perry will sit, which will likely mean more snaps for second-year linebacker Jayrone Elliott on defense. Perry played just a handful of snaps against Detroit.
Stay tuned for more news as we approach kickoff.
