Packers-Raiders Injury Report: Montgomery out again, Linsley & Daniels questionable

Every starter on the Green Bay offensive line shows up on this week's injury report, but the biggest question revolves around the team's best defensive lineman.

The Green Bay Packers were fortunate on the injury front last week leading up to their game against the Dallas Cowboys - only two players were scratched from the lineup due to injury. This week, however, the Packers have already ruled two players out and listed another four players, including their best defensive lineman, as questionable for the game.

The names of the players who are out should come as no surprise - head coach Mike McCarthy said earlier today that cornerback Sam Shields would not make the trip with the team, and Ty Montgomery's ankle will keep him out of an eighth straight contest.

However, the questionable names are just as concerning.

Mike Daniels showed up with that status due to a hamstring issue. The Packers appear to have some issues with reporting his injury status this week, however; he was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, but although the Packers' website initially showed no status on Daniels on Thursday, it now shows that he was limited yesterday as well. Of course, Daniels has not missed a game since his rookie year, and will make every effort to play on Sunday.

Once again, the Packers have two starting linemen listed as questionable as well, with T.J. Lang and Corey Linsley both having their final statuses yet to be determined. The other three starters on the offensive line are all listed as probable.

Here's the Packers' full report for Friday:

WR Ty Montgomery (ankle)
CB Sam Shields (concussion)

WR Davante Adams (foot)
DT Mike Daniels (hamstring)
G T.J. Lang (shoulder)
C Corey Linsley (ankle)

OT David Bakhtiari (knee)
OT Bryan Bulaga (ankle)
CB Casey Hayward (hamstring)
LB Clay Matthews (ankle)
OLB Nick Perry (shoulder)
G Josh Sitton (back)

In Oakland, the Raiders will be missing two starters as well. Safety Nate Allen and right tackle Austin Howard were ruled out for Sunday's game with knee injuries. This will require former Bears and Vikings tackle J'Marcus Webb to move out from guard right tackle, while rookie 4th-round pick Jon Feliciano will make his first start in Webb's normal place.

Here's Oakland's report:

S Nate Allen (knee)
OT Austin Howard (knee)

CB Neiko Thorpe (neck)

WR Amari Cooper (foot)
DE Shelby Harris (ankle)
RB Taiwan Jones (knee)
DE Khalil Mack (knee)
S Charles Woodson (shoulder)
