Packers power rankings, Week 13: Green Bay remains in top 10 despite loss

The Packers hold onto the top 10, for now.

The Green Bay Packers have endured another embarrassing loss, but they haven't relinquished their spot in the top 10, at least not yet. In this week's edition of SB Nation's NFL power rankings, the Green and Gold land in the No. 10 slot, down two spots from the week prior.

The Packers' continued residence in the upper tiers of the rankings speaks more to their potential than their recent performance. The team has lost four of its last five games, enduring previously unthinkable struggles on offense. If they fall to the Detroit Lions this Thursday, a drop into the middle of the pack looks all but assured.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings have jumped ahead of Green Bay, now ranked at No. 7. The Chicago Bears have moved into the top half of the league for the first time this season, coming in at No. 14. Detroit, now No. 20, has also moved up.

SB Nation's ranking for the Packers falls more or less in line with those across the internet. CBS Sports, ESPN and Yahoo! Sports slots them at seventh, eighth and ninth respectively.
