The Green Bay Packers took to the practice field on Christmas Eve Thursday, getting in another set of reps before an off day on Christmas Day and a trip to Arizona over the weekend. The Packers will practice on Saturday after they arrive in Arizona.
On Thursday, however, the Packers' injury report changed little from Wednesday, with only three players having different statuses. One of those changes was good news, however. Defensive tackle Mike Daniels, who was a non-participant previously, practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday, a sign that he will likely be available for Green Bay on Sunday. Leading up to last week's game in Oakland, Daniels was limited all week long but suited up and played on 41 of the Packers' 77 defensive snaps.
Two other Packers did get downgraded from Wednesday, however. Center Corey Linsley was listed as a full participant, but on Thursday he was reduced to limited participation due to his ankle issue. Linsley's injury kept him out of the lineup last Sunday despite being active for the game.
Finally, tight end Justin Perillo was also limited on Thursday (due to a hamstring injury), after not being mentioned on the report previously.
Stay tuned for the official status report coming up.
