The last time that the Green Bay Packers visited the Arizona Cardinals, the Packers went home disappointed. It was the Wild-Card round of the 2009 playoffs, and the teams were repeating the game from seven days prior in week 17. That first contest was a resounding 33-7 Packers win, but it came with the Cardinals resting several players after having clinched their home playoff game already.

A week later, the Cardinals won a thrilling 51-45 game, which featured over 1,000 yards of offense between the two teams.

This Sunday, the loser of the game between these two squads will not be going home for the season, as both teams have playoff berths locked up. However, there is seeding on the line, as the Packers still have a slim hope of overtaking the Cardinals for the second seed in the NFC. A win this week would put them on track, though they would need to defeat the Vikings next week and see Arizona lose to Seattle.

As always, we at Acme Packing Company will be following along with the game closely, and will be discussing it in the game thread below. Join us, and Go Pack Go!
