Bowl season began in earnest this week around college football, with yesterday's matchup of North Carolina and Baylor in the Russell Athletic Bowl representing the first pair of ranked teams to play each other this winter. Today, we have four games to enjoy on the day before the College Football Playoff Semifinals, which will be held on New Year's Eve.
Today's games are a taste of good matchups to come, with the nightcap between Wisconsin and USC featuring the most talent on paper. That one should be a good one to watch regardless of your fandom, with USC quarterback Cody Kessler leading the way opposite Wisconsin's talented pass-rush tandem of Joe Schobert and Vince Biegel.
This is your open thread for the first of three straight days of fun bowl action. Enjoy!
