Let the preseason hype begin!

In his annual preseason prediction, Nate Davis from USA Today likes Green Bay and Indianapolis to meet in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, with the Packers ultimately bringing the Lombardi Trophy home for the fifth time in franchise history. The article, which includes every team's final record as well as playoff scenarios, has the Packers and Colts (projected at 13-3) making the most of home field advantage to advance to the Super Bowl.

At 12-4, the Packers lock down the top seed in the NFC despite having the same record as Seattle. Since they are scheduled to square off in Week 2 at Lambeau Field, Davis favors Green Bay in that matchup, which ultimately earns the Packers the number one seed in the postseason via tiebreaker. Beyond that, they take the Seahawks down again in an NFC Championship game rematch, this time in the Frozen Tundra. I guess something must be said for returning all 11 starters to the most prolific offense from a year ago.

Here's Davis' description on his prediction for the Packers' regular season record:

They open on road against hated Bears before hosting Seahawks at home in NFC title game rematch. Two big games to wash bile from last season out of the collective palate while potentially mapping route to top seed.

Hopefully the momentum from their Week 2 victory will propel them the rest of the season, minus the four evident hiccups along the way. No pressure, guys.
