Seahawks-Packers Inactives: Barclay starts in place of Bulaga, Gunter and Rollins sit

The announced their inactive players and the replacement for tonight.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers take the field in less than 90 minutes against the Seattle Seahawks, and have just announced their inactive players for tonight's game. The one big name on the list comes as no surprise, but thankfully the other starters listed on this week's injury report are all ready to go.

Here's the list:

Packers Inactives

TE Kennard Backman
OT Bryan Bulaga
DT Bruce Gaston
CB LaDarius Gunter
RB Alonzo Harris
QB Brett Hundley
CB Quinten Rollins

Bulaga's presence on this list should shock no one, as he was ruled out on Friday. Also, it should come as no surprise that the Packers have announced Don Barclay as the starter at right tackle, ahead of Josh Walker and/or JC Tretter. Look for one of those two players to be next up for the Packers if necessary.

Thankfully, safety Morgan Burnett will play tonight after missing last week's game with a calf injury. He'll be a key to the run defense for the Packers tonight. Likewise active are wideout Randall Cobb and linebacker Jayrone Elliott, who were both listed as Probable on the injury report on Friday.

Seahawks Inactives

WR B.J. Daniels
G Mark Glowinski
DT David King
LB Mike Morgan
OL Kristjan Sokoli
CB Tye Smith
FB Will Tukuafu

Notice that there are few big names on this list for Seattle. Though Bruce Irvin, Tharold Simon, and Michael Bennett all appeared on Friday's injury report, they are all playing tonight. Tukuafu is probably the biggest name, and his absence should adjust the Seahawks' use of tight ends and fullbacks in the run game, as he is Marshawn Lynch's lead blocker.
