With waivers mostly wrapped up, one last major piece of roster building remains for NFL teams this weekend - the formation of teams' practice squads. At 11 AM Central this morning, the waiver deadline came and went, and with it the last opportunity for teams to claim any players who were released by other clubs. At 12 noon, the NFL has announced to teams which players were claimed and by whom, and any player not claimed is now eligible for addition to the practice squad.
The Packers will surely be hard at work this afternoon, trying to sign ten of the top players remaining on the market. Typically, Green Bay likes to bring their own cut players back to the practice squad, so don't be surprised if you see several familiar names on this list as the afternoon rolls along.
Follow along with us and discuss the transactions as we continue to watch the Packers' roster unfold before our eyes.
