Packers injury report: Randall Cobb practices on limited basis

Randall Cobb was back on the practice field Wednesday.

Only one player sat out practice for the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, and his name wasn't Randall Cobb.

Safety Morgan Burnett was one of three players listed on the Packers' injury report, and was the only player to miss practice. Burnett sat out because of a calf injury, the Packers announced.

After sustaining a shoulder injury in the Packers' third preseason game against the Eagles, wide receiver Randall Cobb practiced on a limited basis. That's definitely a positive sign for the Packers who'll certainly need Cobb after Jordy Nelson's season was cut short a game before his injury. Per ESPN's Rob Demovsky, Cobb participated in individual drills and appeared to have a shoulder harness under his uniform.

The last injury to report from today's practice was an ankle for inside linebacker Sam Barrington. Barrington was listed as a limited participant.

The Packers open their 2015 season four days from today against the Bears in Chicago. The team's formal injury report will come out this Friday.
