NFL Draft 2016: Saturday Open Thread for Rounds Four through Seven

Green Bay gave up two of its Saturday draft picks on Friday - what will they do when they end up on the clock in round four?

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

As the second day of the 2016 NFL Draft concluded, the Green Bay Packers found themselves having addressed three of their most critical needs: defensive line, offensive tackle, and outside linebacker. However, in acquiring Indiana tackle Jason Spriggs in round two, Ted Thompson gave up his original fourth-round pick and his seventh-round pick on day three of the draft.

Well, day three is here, and the Packers still hold four selections today. They will most definitely make two selections in round four, as they hold non-tradeable compensatory picks at selections #131 and #137 overall. In round five, the Packers hold pick #163, and in round six pick #200 belongs to Green Bay. Without too much more ammunition, do not expect to see a trade up from the Packers, though it is still feasible that they may trade back a bit from their 5th-round pick.

All told, here is where the Packers' board stands as of the start of round four:

#27: DT Kenny Clark, UCLA
#48: OT Jason Spriggs, Indiana
#88: OLB Kyler Fackrell, Utah State
#131 (R4 compensatory)
#137 (R4 compensatory)
#163 (R5)
#200 (R6)
