Packers Undrafted Free Agent Signings 2016: Tracking rumors, reports, and confirmations

With the 2016 NFL Draft wrapping up, we now move on to one of the most exciting and crazy parts of player acquisition on the entire NFL calendar: the undrafted free agent signing phase.

The players whom have not been drafted now will have their agents calling teams to try to get them landing spots on the back end of NFL teams' 90-man rosters or, at the very least, an invite to try out at a team's rookie minicamp.

The Green Bay Packers have of course had great success with their undrafted free agents over the years. Sam Shields is arguably the most notable, as the cornerback signed after the 2010 NFL Draft. He earned a big new contract before the 2014 season and a Pro Bowl nod in 2015.

Keep in mind that these early reports and rumors are not necessarily to be taken as gospel, as players still have the option of changing their minds on their destinations until their contracts are signed. Also keep in mind that the reports do not always distinguish clearly between a signing or a tryout, though we will try to indicate one way or the other where possible.
