Welcome to Friday of the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine. Today, the on-field drills begin in earnest while another position group will come through the media room.
On the field, the offensive linemen, specialists, and running backs will perform their drills, including the 40-yard dash, the vertical and broad jumps, the 3-cone drill, and the shuttle runs. Those players' position drills will also begin.
In the media room, we will get our first chance this week to interview defensive players. The defensive linemen and linebackers will be coming through today, and with those being areas of need for the Green Bay Packers, we will be trying to speak to at as many players as possible.
Stay tuned for more from Indianapolis all day today and we will post results of the on-field workouts when they are complete.
