Green Bay got a critical defensive player back at practice on Thursday, but another key starter remains out.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

As the Green Bay Packers continue to prepare for Sunday's de facto NFC North title game, They got some good news on injuries during Thursday's practice. Three players who were not practicing on Wednesday did in Thursday's session, including a pair of starters on defense.

Nose tackle B.J. Raji both participated on a limited basis. Raji's return to practice suggests that he is on track to play on Sunday despite suffering a concussion early in the game against the Cardinals.

A few other players had their statuses changed as well. Cornerback Casey Hayward was upgraded from limited to full participation, while linebacker Nick Perry was downgraded from full to limited.

Here's the full Packers report.

DT Mike Daniels (hamstring)
OLB Jayrone Elliott (quad)
OLB Mike Neal (hip)
TE Justin Perillo (hamstring)

OLB Nick Perry (shoulder)
NT B.J. Raji (concussion)
CB Sam Shields (concussion)

The Vikings may be short-handed on the defensive line as well on Sunday, as three starters have appeared on their report and two did not practice on Thursday. Both defensive end Everson Griffen (shoulder) and tackle Linval Joseph (foot) were held out on Thursday, and tackle Sharrif Floyd was limited with a knee injury.

Perhaps the biggest injury news for the Vikings (at least on its face)revolves around running back Adrian Peterson. He has not practiced at all this week with ankle and shoulder issues. However, Peterson did not practice early on last week either, and he was a full participant on Friday while being ruled Probable for Minnesota's week 16 game.

NOTE: This article originally indicated that Mike Neal and Justin Perillo practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday, which was how their statuses were indicated on the Packers' team website at the time of initial publishing. Since then, their statuses for Thursday were adjusted to "Did Not Participate."
