Packers injury report: Only 2 players miss practice

New, comments

The Packers appear to be regaining their health.

Many months have passed since the Green Bay Packers last had a semi-healthy roster. Though the injury report issues Wednesday still includes a long list of names, the participation designations suggest that the team may have finally turned the corner in that department.

The big news came earlier in the day when multiple reports stated that starting left tackle David Bakhtiari and top cornerback Sam Shields did some work during the portion of practice open to the media. The team listed both as limited on the official report, the strongest sign yet that either may return for this weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Only two players did not participate in practice Wednesday. Wide receiver Davante Adams, who reportedly suffered an MCL sprain during last Sunday's game in Washington, sat out as expected. Rookie corner Quinten Rollins also did not participate due to a quad injury.

Meanwhile in the desert, no Cardinals missed practice. Starting guard Mike Iupati saw limited action due to a shoulder injury, though the team expects him to play this weekend. Quarterback Carson Palmer appeared on the report with a right finger injury, but the team listed him as a full participant.
