Packers-Cardinals Injury Report: Bakhtiari probable, Shields and Rollins questionable

Green Bay should have its full offensive line back, but there are still concerns about the injuries in the secondary.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers finally have some good news at left tackle this week. After three weeks of trying to find a capable replacement for David Bakhtiari, it appears that the starting tackle is ready to return to game action for Saturday's Divisional playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Bakhtiari was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and although he was held out of Friday's practice, he was listed on the Friday injury report as Probable for tomorrow's contest. His return should allow JC Tretter to return to a reserve role, where he can back up both Bakhtiari and center Corey Linsley.

Also, as expected, the Packers ruled wide receiver Davante Adams out for this week with his MCL sprain.

The other big name who has been held out the past few weeks is cornerback Sam Shields, who suffered a concussion in week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys. Shields has been limited in practice all week long, and was listed as questionable. Also questionable is fellow cornerback Quinten Rollins, who injured a quadriceps muscle in Washington a week ago. He was also limited on Friday.

In a related roster move, the Packers added cornerback Robertson Daniel from the practice squad to the active roster, while placing tight end Andrew Quarless on Injured Reserve.

Here's the Packers' full injury report for Saturday's game.

Out

WR Davante Adams (knee)
TE Andrew Quarless (knee)*

Questionable

CB Quinten Rollins (quad)
CB Sam Shields (concussion)

Probable

OT David Bakhtiari (ankle)
DT Mike Daniels (hamstring)
OLB Jayrone Elliott (quad)
DE Datone Jones (neck)
RB Eddie Lacy (rib)
G T.J. Lang (calf)
OLB Mike Neal (hip)
TE Richard Rodgers (hip)
G Josh Sitton (back)

*Note: Quarless has not yet formally been placed on injured reserve at the time the injury report was released, which is why he still appears on the list.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, have just five names on their injury report. Linebacker Markus Golden (knee), guard Mike Iupati (shoulder), and quarterback Carson Palmer (finger) all practiced fully on Friday and are Probable. Defensive linemen Josh Mauro (calf) and Frostee Rucker (ankle) were limited and are Questionable for Saturday's game.
