The Green Bay Packers already had an astonishing 17 players on their first injury report of the week, and now that list expands to 18 with rookie cornerback Damarious Randall suffered a groin injury.
Randall's injury comes at an unfortunate time for Green Bay, as top cover man Sam Shields remains in the concussion protocol and may not play on Sunday. The team officially listed Randall as limited, so the issue may not ultimately cost him any time.
The Packers did receive some positive news, however. Left tackle David Bakhtiari, who hasn't practiced since suffering an ankle injury in Week 15, managed to participate in a limited capacity on Thursday. Left guard Josh Sitton also returned to practice while center Corey Linsley took part in every portion of practice.
Meanwhile in Washington, only defensive lineman Chris Baker missed practice on Thursday for a non-injury related reason. However, safety Dashon Goldson only participated in a limited capacity, as did running back Matt Jones.
