This Thursday evening, the Green Bay Packers will play the final game of a four-game, five-week homestand as they host their oldest rivals, the Chicago Bears. A year after blowing their chance to tie the all-time series with a sweep of the Bears, the Packers get another opportunity to pull within one game with a win this week.
This week’s game features the NFL’s Color Rush program, but the Packers are mercifully sticking with a uniform that is mostly true to their normal getups. Instead of an all-green or all-yellow uniform, Green Bay is sticking with their typical white road jerseys and donning new white pants and socks for a white-out look. The Bears, on the other hand, are going with an all-navy look with their traditional home jerseys matched up with navy pants.
Both teams have injury lists a mile long, and the Packers will likely be without both of their top running backs, Eddie Lacy and James Starks. In addition, the team recently placed top cornerback Sam Shields on injured reserve due to his concussion.
This week’s game will have a free online stream on Twitter and on SB Nation, so be sure to click over at game time and join us at APC.
