Bears-Packers Week 7 Injury Report: Packers rule seven players Out

A whopping 21 players show up on the final reports for the two NFC North teams today as they prepare for Thursday’s contest.

After releasing their injury reports on Wednesday for tomorrow’s Thursday Night Football game, the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will likely have a difficult time fielding 46 players each for the game.

This afternoon, the Packers announced their injured list, which includes a whopping seven players - including their top two cornerbacks, Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins. This comes after Sam Shields was placed on injured reserve due to his concussion, a move which removes him from eligibility on the 53-man roster. Likewise, and as expected, both running backs Eddie Lacy and James Starks will sit out tomorrow’s game.

There is a modicum of good news - neither right tackle Bryan Bulaga nor wide receiver Randall Cobb were listed on the report, and both were reported to have participated fully in Wednesday’s practice.

With teams deactivating seven players on gameday from the 53-man roster in order to reach a 46-man gameday roster, there is no question which players will be suiting up in street clothes rather than pads for the Packers. On the Bears’ side, however, only two players are listed as out. However, another three are doubtful and seven more are questionable for the game. The list includes a whopping nine starters from the Bears’ unofficial depth chart, including former Packers guard Josh Sitton. Sitton is listed as Doubtful with an ankle injury and is therefore unlikely to play in his first opportunity to line up on Lambeau Field as an enemy.

Check out the ridiculous lists below and try not to imagine how ugly this game is going to be tomorrow evening.
