Predicting tonight’s Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears game is a difficult task. Despite the fact that the Packers are favored by a little more than a touchdown tonight, the offense has remained unreliable and Aaron Rodgers committed a pair of very uncharacteristic turnovers last week, giving him four in his last two games.
Meanwhile, both teams are dealing with more injuries than ever this week, as the Packers have already ruled seven players out and the Bears landed thirteen players on their Wednesday injury report. This week’s injuries led to the Packers trading for running back Knile Davis, who very well may start tonight just two days after landing in Green Bay.
So yes, it’s tough to pick a winner, but APC has overwhelmingly chosen the Packers to be victorious once again. Then again, we did so last week against the Cowboys, and you saw how that turned out. Perhaps this is just blind faith in Mike McCarthy and company to get the offense figured out or in the defense to find a way to force Brian Hoyer into turnovers. Perhaps we individually have all found reasons to genuinely believe that the Packers will bounce back. Or maybe we’re all just fooling ourselves and the team will suffer their most embarrassing loss of the early part of the season.
Tune in tonight to find out.
