It’s going to be a hard-fought, knock-down, drag-em-out battle on Sunday night between two sides desperately fighting for position on the national stage. No, I’m not talking about the presidential debate set for 8 PM Central - I’m talking about Sunday Night Football between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants.
This week’s game features a pair of quarterbacks who were thought to be on tilt after facing the Minnesota Vikings’ defense in recent weeks. Aaron Rodgers rebounded with four touchdowns in the first half against the Detroit Lions, but this will be Eli Manning’s first chance to bounce back after seeing his offense shut down at U.S. Bank Stadium. If one quarterback can avoid his opposition’s tough pass rush and have a big day through the air, he will likely lead his team to victory.
Although the debate will start somewhere around the end of the first quarter, NBC will stick with game coverage throughout the evening, so there’s no need to fear that you will have to miss portions of the game or need to change the channel. Here’s our Game Primer with all the details you need to get ready for Sunday.
