Although the Green Bay Packers had a number of players show up on this week’s practice injury report on Wednesday and Thursday, the team has an impressively small number of players - three - on the Friday status report.
Two players have been ruled out for the game, as expected. However, the one other player listed on Friday’s report is not one of those who was inactive two weeks ago against the Detroit Lions. Instead, it is a player who has been beaten badly over the past two games on defense but who is still counted on to help contain the New York Giants’ receivers on Sunday: cornerback Damarious Randall.
Randall has been limited in practice all week with a groin issue, and that injury landed him with a questionable designation today. Thankfully, Morgan Burnett and Datone Jones practiced fully all week and will play; likewise, Letroy Guion was a full participant on Thursday and although Clay Matthews was still limited, neither one of those two is listed on Friday’s report either.

Giants Injury Report
The Giants, on the other hand, have seven players listed today. The four players ruled out for the game have sat out practice all week. Three of those four are listed as starters on the depth chart - a tight end, right tackle, and safety - and safety Nat Berhe would have been the next man up at both safety spots.
The three questionable players are all key contributors as well, with a starting running back and two of the team’s top three corners practicing in limited fashion today.

- OT Marshall Newhouse (calf)
