30 minutes of tonight’s game are in the books, and the Green Bay Packers lead the New York Giants by the score of 17-6.
Aaron Rodgers has been alternately brilliant and ordinary in tonight’s game - although he has thrown a pair of touchdown passes and racked up 134 yards through the air, he is just 13 for 28 and has thrown two interceptions. Only one of those picks was his fault, however; the first was a brutal drop by Jordy Nelson that caromed into the hands of Janoris Jenkins.
Eddie Lacy’s workload is modest so far - just nine carries - but he has put up 77 yards on those carries.
The Packers’ touchdowns came from Jordy Nelson (his fifth of the year) and Davante Adams (his second). Mason Crosby ended the first half with a 44-yard field goal after Kyler Fackrell stripped Eli Manning of the football and Kenny Clark recovered for the Packers.
Keep it here for more updates and discussion of the second half.
