This evening, the Green Bay Packers try to return to the .500 mark on Sunday Night Football. The Packers are in Washington, the site of last year's Wild Card playoff victory that sent them to Arizona.
However, this year's Packers have been ravanged by injuries, and several starters from last year's contest will be sitting out tonight. In addition to running back Eddie Lacy and cornerback Sam Shields, both of whom are on injured reserve, right guard T.J. Lang and inside linebacker Jake Ryan will sit out with injuries as well.
Also out is center JC Tretter, who was a revelation in last year's game. After shuffling through Don Barclay and Josh Sitton at left tackle when David Bakhtiari went down late last season, Tretter started the game at left tackle and held down the fort admirably. Tretter started the Packers' first seven games of this season at center before suffering a knee injury a few weeks ago.
Thankfully, Bakhtiari will return on Sunday after leaving last week's game in Tennessee.
