Packers-Washington Inactives: Cook and Matthews active, Christine Michael sits

Both of the Packers’ questionable players will suit up tonight as expected.

The Green Bay Packers as expected got bad news on the injury front this week. Four starters were ruled out for this week’s game back on Friday, and therefore are inactive for tonight’s contest against Washington. Thankfully, the two Packers who were listed as Questionable - tight end Jared Cook and linebacker Clay Matthews - are both active and suiting up for tonight’s game.

A surprise inactive for today's game is running back Christine Michael, who was claimed off waivers on Wednesday. Head coach Mike McCarthy reported to the media that the team had just one or two packages for Michael that they were working on early, but that apparently is not enough to make him worth activating today. Instead, James Starks and Ty Montgomery will take the snaps at running back.
