Packers-Washington Second Half Game Updates & Discussion

Green Bay trails 13-10 at the half, but there are still 30 minutes of football left to play.

After 30 minutes, the Green Bay Packers trail Washington by the score of 13-10. The two teams combined for four three-and-outs in the first five offensive series of the game - including three straight by the Packers - as the defenses sere stout early. However, Washington broke through with a long touchdown drive late in the first quarter, as Kirk Cousins found DeSean Jackson for the score.

On the next drive, the Packers ran 17 plays, culminating in a 13-yard touchdown to Jordy Nelson. Mason Crosby added a field goal in the second quarter, but the defense gave up yet another touchdown inside the two-minute warning as Washington took the lead back 13-10. They elected to go for a two-point conversion, however, perhaps due to issues with the wind, and they were stuffed at the line of scrimmage.

Aaron Rodgers has another less-than-impressive stat line so far; he is 13 of 22 for 100 yards and one touchdown, though he has added 24 yards on two carries.
