2016 NFL Picks, Week 12: Lions to topple Vikings on Thanksgiving, Eagles over Packers

APC’s crystal ball sees another loss on the docket for the Packers, while Detroit takes a lead in the division over Minnesota.

NFL: Preseason-Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

This week, Acme Packing Company has three Thursday football games to pick instead of the typical one. With it being Thanksgiving today, our picks are in a bit early as the first game kicks off at 12:30 Eastern time.

That game is between the co-leaders of the NFC North: the Lions and Vikings. The consensus pick here at APC is that the home team - Detroit - will be victorious. If this indeed takes place, it will give Detroit a season sweep of Minnesota and will assure them of the final tiebreaker between the two teams if they end the season tied based on record.

Unfortunately, the Packers face a tall task this week with their third straight road game. Monday night’s game will pit the Packers against the Philadelphia Eagles, and APC is overwhelmingly pessimistic about the Packers’ chances. Currently, the Eagles are favored by just four points, but based on APC’s picks it seems we would expect the spread to be much higher.

Check out our picks below and give us your prediction for Packers-Eagles in the community prediction section at the bottom of this article.
