The Green Bay Packers could suit up on Monday night with a few of their critical young defenders back on the field for the first time in quite a while. Cornerback Damarious Randall is listed on this week’s injury report as Questionable with his groin injury, the first time he has had a chance to play since the week five game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Randall’s return could give a boost to a Packers secondary that is missing yet another player. Demetri Goodson started last week’s game in Washington, but left the game with a serious knee injury in the first half. Goodson has been ruled out today, but seems a logical choice to move to injured reserve before the game begins. The Packers did designate cornerback Makinton Dorleant as their one “designated for return” player, however, so he may be activated in Goodson’s place.
The Eagles, however, enter the game relatively healthy in terms of the 53-man roster. They have just two players listed on their injury report - one is starting running back Ryan Mathews, however, as the Eagles will have to work with a combination of Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, and Kenjon Barner at the position on Monday.
Here are the full injury reports for the two teams.
