This evening, the Green Bay Packers suit up for their only Monday Night Football game of the 2016 season. The Packers are in Philadelphia to play the Eagles in a battle between teams fighting to stay alive in the NFC playoff race.
The Eagles started out hot this season behind rookie quarterback Carson Wentz and a revitalized defense. However, after starting 3-0, the Eagles have struggled since their bye week, going just 2-5 since. However, every one of their games since the bye has come against a team with a record bettern than .500 - in fact, the Eagles have played every one of the current top six seeds in the NFC over that stretch, with their only other game coming against the current #8 team, the Vikings.
Philadelphia has been a remarkably better team at home than on the road, however. Away from home, the Eagles allow just under 25 points per game; however, at home they allow just 9.5 points to the opposition.
The Packers, meanwhile, have struggled to defend opposing teams regardless of the venue in recent weeks. Over the past four games, they have allowed at least 31 points and over 350 yards in each contest, while forcing just two turnovers (both against the Colts three weeks ago). Will the return of Damarious Randall help? Tune in to find out.
