Packers injury report: Nick Perry, James Starks ruled out

Nick Perry and James Starks did not travel with the Packers to Chicago.

The Green Bay Packers did not make any surprise adjustments to their injury report, though they did downgrade two players. Outside linebacker Nick Perry and running back James Starks did not make the trip to Chicago, forcing the Packers to rule them out.

Perry will miss his second consecutive game after suffering a hand injury against the Houston Texans in Week 13. That the Packers waited until Saturday to rule Perry out suggests that the sack artist could make his return sometime before the end of the season.

As for Starks, his deactivation results from a concussion he suffered during a car accident earlier this week. In his absence, converted wideout Ty Montgomery and running back Christine Michael expect to receive most of the workload against the Chicago Bears this week.

The rest of the Packers’ injury report remains unchanged since Friday. While the team lists Aaron Rodgers as questionable, he is expected to play.
