On this Christmas Eve day, the Green Bay Packers are hosting the Minnesota Vikings for a holiday matchup with significant playoff implications. A Packers victory will set up a winner-take-all showdown in Detroit next Sunday for the NFC North title. If the Vikings win, Green Bay's playoff hopes will not be crushed entirely, but they will take a significant hit.
The Packers will be facing a Vikings team that is without a trip of offensive starters, however; running back Adrian Peterson's return last week was short-lived, and he will sit out this Saturday's game with knee and groin injuries. Meanwhile, the Vikings are missing yet another starting offensive lineman, as Brandon Fusco will be inactive today. That means that just two of the players on the week one starting line will play tonight, and neither one plays tackle.
Join APC throughout the game as we update you on the events of the contest. We wish you and your family a happy holiday season, enjoy the game, and Go Pack Go!
