Monday, April 18th marks the beginning of the offseason training program for the Green Bay Packers, and players on the team's roster appear to be eager to get back to workouts this week in preparation for practices in May. This weekend, several players have been taking to twitter to express their excitement to begin their prep for the 2016 season.
Sam Barrington, who lost most of his 2015 season to an ankle injury, is certainly looking forward to getting back on the field:
Landed in Green Bay to 81 degree weather??? Going to be ONE HELLUVA YEAR!!!!

So is Bryan Bulaga, an Illinois native:

Linebacker Carl Bradford is in town too, and enjoying the beautiful weekend:

Meanwhile, outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott took in a Green Bay Blizzard arena league game on Friday:

All of these players - and likely every other player on the Packers' roster - will begin their workouts on Monday. The first few weeks of workouts may only consist of strength and conditioning work, as on-field instruction is explicitly disallowed by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. That work may begin with phase 2 of the offseason program, which will begin two weeks later on May 2nd.
