Acme Packing Company's 2016 mock draft continues on with picks five and six in round one, as we release the first-round picks over the course of this week. The rules were simple: seven authors were assigned four or five teams apiece, and made the picks for each of those teams whenever they came up. We will pick the first three rounds of the draft.

Round 1, Pick 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

Jason B. Hirschhorn gets the chance to make the picks for the Bucs, and here's what he has to say about the Stanley pick:

The Buccaneers have bigger needs than offensive tackle, but they cannot afford to pass up Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley, a lengthy, fleet-footed blocker that by all rights should have come off the board by this point. Stanley gives quarterback Jameis Winston the blindside protector he needs for the next decade.

By taking Stanley, 2015 second-round pick Donovan Smith can shift over to the right side with Gosder Cherilus assuming the offensive line's sixth-man role. Combined with acquisition of guard J.R. Sweezy and the development of Ali Marpet, Tampa Bay's line can start to gel.

Round 1, Pick 10: New York Giants pick Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

Manning the Giants' front office in this mock is Zach Roethlisberger:

Any New York Giants fans reading this may want my head, but I struggled with this pick given who was already off the board. I had Ezekiel Elliott and Ronnie Stanley circled here as perfect fits but being they were already taken, I chose to go with a complement to Odell Beckham Jr. next season in Laquon Treadwell.

Although coming off an injury and running a bit slow in his pro day, Treadwell possesses the ability to make an impact in the NFL next season, especially not being the main option. The Giants were another team that spent a ton of money this offseason on defensive players, and I believe you see them take an impactful offensive player here. With the departure of Rueben Randle, and no insurance on if Victor Cruz will come back strong from injury, Treadwell fills a significant role here, given the players already off the board.
