Aaron Rodgers owns two league MVP awards, a Super Bowl ring and the highest career passer rating in NFL history. Now, he can add world fame to the list. According to a new list published by ESPN, the Green Bay Packers' superstar quarterback ranks 53rd overall in terms of international fame.
ESPN bases its selections on a number of factors, including salary, endorsements and social media footprint. In those categories, Rodgers rates quite well, especially in social media where he has over 2 million followers on Twitter and nearly 11,000 likes on Facebook.
The list, which includes more soccer and basketball stars than gridiron football players, lists Rodgers as the seventh most famous NFL entry. Ahead of Rodgers, ESPN chose Cam Newton (No. 32), Peyton Manning (38), Odell Beckham Jr. (40), Drew Brees (44), Russell Wilson (49) and Tom Brady (52).
Interestingly, ESPN thinks Rodgers has already proposed to actress girlfriend Olivia Munn:

While the two have not become engaged as far as we know, it just goes to show how much attention Rodgers and his off-the-field life can garner.
